Barbara and Jean came to us with a beautiful antique map of the city of Washington, DC.  There were looking for a classic and way to display it that didn’t detract from the map itself and maintained the age of the piece:

We received the map as an engagement present from my parents who collected antique maps.  It is a Civil War era map of Washington, DC.

We selected a frame by Larson Juhl with a stunning burl wood panel and a warm silver wave patterned edge.  The frame has an air of history to it.

The framing looks fantastic and accents the map rather than dominating it.  Thank you!
